The EXO system is a modular system that allows you to customize how it's set up. With this particular configuration, we have the gear locker and the SkinnyWarrior with the top shelf attachment, but you can configure it with a lot of different accessories. And what that means for you with your Explorer, it's gonna allow you to increase your cargo area to get those bigger, bulkier things out for your adventure. As you can see, this is a pretty massive setup, but the benefit of that, it gives you a lot of flexibility. So with your SkinnyWarrior basket at the bottom, it also is an attachment that allow you to use it as a cart, and it's gonna give you 110 pounds of capacity to stow away. more

This is going to be a really nice accessory to add to the hitch of your edge so you can get any excess cargo or luggage or anything like that out of your vehicle and get it stowed on the cargo carrier for travel. That'll just help out with making sure you got enough leg and elbow room for your passengers from maybe one of those longer road trips.Another great use is that if you maybe have a ton of equipment that's really dirty or muddy you just spent all day out in the rain and mud, you can just load that stuff onto the carrier, strap it down, and then take it home without getting it on the floorboard of your edge and having to clean up those carpeted floor mats. Now, if your carrier does get dirty, it's pretty easy to clean. more

That's going to give us plenty of room to carry all that sporting equipment, camping equipment, things of that nature. And with how the rails are designed, it's going to give us plenty of spaces to use our straps to secure everything down.The bottom of the carrier is actually made out of mesh, so when we have these leaky coolers in here, we're not going to have to worry about cleaning up inside of the car or have to worry about that water puddling up and damaging our other gear. more

Today we have a 2019 Ford Explorer and we're going to be showing you how the Rola Cargo Carrier is going to interact with it.With this cargo carrier, you're going to be able to get some of that cargo out of your vehicle or extra cargo onto the cargo carrier making your trip a little bit more enjoyable because you're not going to have to leave anything behind. This cargo carrier is going to have a 600 pound weight capacity, but you do want to check with your vehicle's owner's manual and the manual of your hitch to make sure your hitch can hold that much.Now a couple of dimensions for you guys so you know what you're getting into. The total length that you've added to the rear of your Explorer is going to be about 32 inches to the furthest most point there. Because you can't tilt this up to your vehicle, you are going to always have that length as long as it's inserted. The closest point, is going to be about eight inches away from your vehicle, which is far enough away to where it's not going to come up and hit your vehicle and you're still going to be able to slide in and get anything from the inside. more

It is made of heavy duty steel, and it has this nice powder-coated finish. Also, as you can see, the flooring in this has, has a nice diamond pattern to it. So, a lot of your water and mud and such is going to fall right through, and also the powder coat also protects it from rust and corrosion. more

Part #59109.I've already got the roll in closed cargo carrier installed on my Explorer, as you can see. The first thing that I'd like to point out, is that it does not extend past beyond the width of our Explorer. Also, even though our carrier has included tail lights, we also have full visibility or our Explorer's tail lights.Another thing you'll enjoy, is that it doesn't block our rear view window. It is, however, going to block your backup camera. One of my favorite features is, it has the ability to swing out, so we can gain access to our rear hatch. more

What this does, it has an elongated ramp that folds out to the side, enables you to put your tote gear or wheeled equipment onto the rack and you can transport it from place to place. Right now, we have it in the folded position, so let's go ahead and show you how the ramp folds out. This has a carrying capacity of 300 pounds, has this mesh floor at the bottom, which makes it easy to clean, and all the way around the cargo carrier, we have these points here, which you can use as tie downs for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. Whatever it is you use to tie down your gear. Let's go ahead and give you a couple of quick measurements. Measuring from the edge of the bumper to our outer edge, we've added about 26 inches to this point here. Our closest point to the bumper is going to be about six and a quarter to this edge. We do have dual exhaust, which is about 11 inches from the cargo carrier. more

As you can see it's a sizable carrier, we have plenty of mounting holes surrounding it, and we also have a mesh flooring and mesh ramp so it's going to be very easy to clean. Carpod Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2006 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty- Video

Today on our 2006 Ford F-250 Super Duty, we're going to be doing a test fit on the 23x47 Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier for 2" hitches only. The nice thing about this cargo carrier is that it has these walls all the way around that clip together in order to make sure that you can get your cargo in here, but you don't have to worry about tying it down nearly as much to make sure that it stays contained. This is very handy because it'll give you a good idea of exactly how much you can fit. Now, this cargo carrier does have a 450 lb capacity. It's got a steel mesh floor down here on the bottom in order to help make sure that dirt and debris falls through and doesn't collect so that it can get onto the bottom of your cargo. Let's take a few measurements. First, we'll take ground clearance here at the back of the cargo carrier. We're sitting right about 23" there. more
